Hammersmith & Fulham is also convinced that scheduling the works

Ian Hawthorne - Traffic Manager is pleased with the progress made to provide an ideal solution for inspectors and his operational team.
Hammersmith are quite forward thinking in the technology they are adopting to meet with electronic noticing and the TMA. They not only have introduced mobile working to control work at site level with automatic noticing being the end result. They are looking to use mobile technology at the inspection end of the highways maintenance cycle, capturing work that needs to be done in an efficient manner. This work stream feeds into the asset management system which in turn is electronically imported into the planning, scheduling and noticing module, Master Plan, in a seamless transition. The key word in all of this is efficiency with the end result being less manpower repeatedly keying in data because the whole process has been automated.
